SunRiver Health is currently looking for a Nurse Manager to join ourteam at our new location in White Plains, NY, and at our Yonkershealth center on Valentine Lane. Position Summary A Nurse Managerrenders professional nursing care to patients, within an assignedunit or authorized community health center site, in support ofmedical care as directed by the medical staff and pursuant to theobjectives and policies of the Sun River Health. Participate in theinterview process, make hiring decisions, train staff on policiesand procedures, conduct performance reviews, and follow progressivediscipline guidelines as needed. Responsible for conducting monthlyquality health standard audits of assigned units. Performs otherduties as assigned on as needed basis. Essential Duties and JobResponsibilities Provide patient education according to patient’sneeds and preferences and document in medical record Attendmandated training and demonstrate competence on all nursingprocedures, including relevant lab procedures Ensure that allclinical staff (nurses, medical and clinical assistants, laboratorystaff, and, and Patient Navigators) adhere to and understand thework flows, documentation requirements in EHR according to SRHquality standard Review all site quality data monthly and identify,lead and develop strategies for improvement in collaboration withthe site leadership team, to promote quality, safety and patientsatisfaction Ensure that site champions are identified for the corequality initiatives and core systems including workflow anddocumentation are understood and executed Ensure that SRH standardprocedures and work flows are implemented and followed, includingbut not limited to: medication management, pre-visit planning, teamhuddles, accurate and timely completion of Nursing Quality Logs,exam room readiness, ordering and storing of supplies and equipmentResponsible for oversight of laboratory operations and continuousreview of In-House Lab Tests Quality Control and Maintenance LogsEnsure that the quality of care is assessed and improved throughregular record audits In collaboration with the rest of the siteleadership team, develop and lead initiatives to promote andimprove quality, safety and patient satisfaction Participation inGrand Rounds Demonstrate knowledge of decontamination andsterilization processes, and perform regular review of D & SProcessing and Maintenance Logs (note: in sites with dentalservices, dentist performs more intensive review of logs, but NMneeds to be familiar with and shares responsibility for compliancewith standards) Conduct monthly component meetings with allclinical support team and review the priority issues of theorganization including quality, safety and patient satisfactionincluding any organizational updates or initiatives Monitor andfacilitate patient follow-up as needed, including test results andmissed appointments Demonstrate knowledge of the principles ofgrowth and development over the life span, and provide age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care, including use of medicalinterpreters as indicated Perform direct patient care duties of an

interview patients for health history, prepare equipment andassist practitioner during examination and treatment of patients,document in patient’s medical record according to SRH standard,assess and triage patients as needed Complete annual clinicalcompetencies of Nurses (LPNs,RNs) & Medical Assistants Ensure thatall newly hired staff has completed all onboarding requirements

Essential Job Qualifications Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree and one year of experience in acute care setting

Minimum Work-Related Experience:

3 – 5 years
