$15,000 Commitment Incentive Bonus Tuition assistance/reimbursement Low nurse-to-patient ratios Expansive benefit package Professional development and advancement opportunities Targeted approach to career development Strong interdisciplinary teamwork opportunities Superior quality patient outcomes Supportive leadership and culture CEU Support State-of-the-art equipment What you will do in this role: The charge nurse assures the provision of safe and effectivepatient care after hours, on weekends and on holidays or whenCNO/NM/Interim is not in building Responsibilities include assessment of all departments in orderto assure continuity of care and report pertinent information tomanagement and administration The charge nurse is responsible for effectively communicatingunusual occurrences or complaints for follow -up and intervenesimmediately when needed Ensures the nursing department staff performs all aspects ofpatient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety andreduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors Ensures occurrence of appropriate documentation, includingdocumentation of medical necessity, by staff in medical records;monitors completion and revisions to the Interdisciplinary CarePlan Assists to review and evaluate risk and quality indicators,patient satisfaction results, and outcomes in order to continuallyimprove performance and outcomes; communicates this information tothe nursing department Assures education and training is provided to nursing staff onQuality Indicators (QIs) assures timely and accurate QI assessmentsand scoring are performed Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with currentlicensure in the state. Bachelor’s degree preferred Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acutecare setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and directactivities of clinical personnel; effective oral and writtencommunication skills, in English with additional languagespreferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.
