- Supportive leadership and culture What you will do in thisrole: Ensures the nursing department staff performs all aspects ofpatient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety andreduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors Ensures appropriate documentation, including documentation ofmedical necessity, by staff in medical records; monitors completionand revisions to the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Assists to review and evaluate risk and quality indicators,patient satisfaction results, and outcomes in order to continuallyimprove performance and outcomes; communicates this information tothe nursing department Ensures staff completes charting timely Manages staffing plans, nursing hours per patient day, andquality of work of nursing staff May have patient care assignment in addition to dailyresponsibilities Coordinates and directs appropriate rehab care needs related topatient/family educational needs, barriers or continuum of carerequirements Serves as a clinical rehab resources for patients/familiesduring their rehab stay Assists with day to day coordination/follow-up of patient careand problem resolution Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing,Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. BSN Preferred Current unrestricted state licensure as Registered Nurse
CPR/BCLS
certification.
