Job Summary AndQualificationsRevenue Integrity Clinical Charge Review Analyst RNis responsible for determining and identifying variations in dailytotal charges across all hospital revenue generating departments.

Monitors daily ancillary charge report to identify any potentialcharging issue related to system failures, system updates or other.

Reviews denial trends for documentation and charging opportunities.

Serves as a liaison between facilities Administration, SharedServices Center, and ancillary department directors regarding totalcharge variations and revenue opportunities.

In this role you will: Conduct reviews of charging, coding, and clinicaldocumentation, collaborating with Corporate Revenue IntegrityLeadership during Meditech Expanse implementation. Maintains constant communication with Facility Departmentsduring Meditech Expanse implementation to address identifiedcharging issues, both prior to and after go-live. This role ensuresthe Facility CFO is regularly updated on the progress of chargingactivities. Perform detailed charge audits by verifying billing dataagainst clinical documentation, making necessary corrections inPatient Accounting. Based on audit findings, presentrecommendations to Corporate and SSC Revenue Integrity Leadership,as well as facility ancillary department directors, to enhancedocumentation accuracy, charging workflows, and overallcompliance. Collaborates with Facility Department Directors in developingchargemaster and charging practices for new service lines orprocedures, following approved standardization guidelines. Monitorscharging practices post-implementation to offer targeted guidanceand support. Consistently monitors charging practices across all facilitiesthrough charge reviews, remedial training, and education. Acts as Chargemaster liaison for clinical departments tofacilitate education on appropriate charging of CPT codes andRevenue Codes. Collaborates with Ancillary Departments to resolveissues and coordinate necessary updates (activation, deactivation,or modification). Review HCA regulatory communications, applicable CMStransmittals, and Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs), assesstheir impact on Revenue Integrity procedures, and implementnecessary changes. Maintain up-to-date billing knowledge through webcasts andconference calls, ensuring continuous education. Possess working knowledge of Medicare guidance,inpatient/outpatient status, and observation requirements. Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Pro, 3M Coding systems, and 3MCoding Resources. Participates in charge optimization projects and supports theCorporate Revenue Integrity team on special projects, chargereviews, and patient audits as needed.

Qualifications that you willneed: Registered Nurse Degree required. Minimum 1 year directly related Healthcare experiencerequired. Knowledge of

CPT/HCPCS

codes or experience in charging orperforming charging validation reviews preferred.
