Job Summary:
The MDS coordinator monitors patient care by assessing procedures, speaking with patients, and recording medical codes. Job:
Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
Three (3) years of recent nursing experience in a long-term care, hospital, home health, or medical facility.
License(s): Current State of Alaska Nursing License.
Certification(s): Must obtain an RAC-CT certification through AAPACN within one year of hire
Internal Hires:
Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
