• Charge Nurse OR Full Time Days Position Summary
• The Charge Nurse is a professional nurse who manages the dailyoperations of a department (s) to provide services for patientswhile meeting quality, legal, organizational and medical staffgoals. Responsible for promoting the efficient operations toprovide effective nursing care of a designated department (s).Manages the department independently under the guidance of a NurseManager/Director.
• -Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, JCAHO and the NursePractice Act. Promotes optimum health care delivery withinbudgetary guidelines. Is responsible for department(s) on a 24 hourbasis.
• Education

• Required:

  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred:

Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’sdegree).

• Experience
• 1 year RN experience
• Certifications
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice professionas required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR
