Join us and Pass meds, treat skin tears, supervise caregivers, and enhance the lives of our Residents in a smaller, family atmosphere. We are seeking a dedicated LPN or RN to oversee patient care in our assisted living and memory care. The Charge Nurse will be responsible for passing medications, performing minor treatment, overseeing personal care assistants, ensuring high-quality patient care, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide effective treatment plans. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and time management. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed including injections. Provide support to residents in various stages of care from independent to home health to hospice. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on assessments. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards of practice. Train and mentor new nursing staff, fostering a supportive learning environment. Qualifications Current nursing license in the state of practice. Proven experience in assisted living or memory care preferred. Strong background in geriatrics is advantageous. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and experience administering injections. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients and their families.
