Resident Services Director/DNS-RN Required 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 92 Cedar Hill Drive, Windsor, VT 05089 Overview The Village at Cedar Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care Center is seeking a full-time Resident Services Director. Must have current VT RN License. This is a salaried position. Days of the week and hours of work may vary based on census, condition of residents, and staffing status as well as physician, family and facility needs. On a typical day the hours of work may be 8:00am – 4:30pm. On call rotation is required. The Resident Services Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the Assisted Living and Memory Care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for residents. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care, particularly for those with memory care needs. The Resident Services Director will manage staff, coordinate care services, and foster a sense of community among residents and their families. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Assisted Living and Memory Care facilities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Manage staff schedules, performance evaluations, and training programs to maintain high standards of care. Coordinate medication administration and ensure that all medical needs of residents are met in accordance with prescribed guidelines. Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, focusing on memory care and overall well-being. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners to enhance the quality of life within the home. Maintain financial acumen by managing budgets, expenses, and resource allocation effectively. Lead regular meetings with staff to discuss resident care strategies, operational challenges, and team development. Ensure that the facility is clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents. Requirements Current VT RN License Proven experience in a leadership role within a Assisted Living setting such as a group home or retirement home. Strong background in memory care practices and medication administration. Excellent management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Financial acumen to manage budgets and resources effectively. Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with residents and their families. Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and provide appropriate solutions in high-pressure situations. This role is essential for maintaining the quality of life for residents while ensuring that all operational aspects of the facility run smoothly.
