Assesses patient’s ability to utilize meal ordering system and ensures service accuracy. Adheres to standards related to food quality and service excellence. Develops menu tallies for food production, and is responsible for NPO and tube feeding protocol monitoring. Must respond accurately and efficiently to physician diet order changes by supplying patients with menu that appropriately corresponds to diet order. Maintains critical communication with dietitians and department management regarding patient concerns and demonstrates high level of patient service/satisfaction. Performs computer-related activities as required. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital. Qualifications Qualifications Ability to accurately comprehend and respond to oral and written instructions in English for patient safety. Able to demonstrate basic computer skills and history of customer service. Two (2) years experience working in a hospital, commercial restaurant, or other food service operation is a plus.
