ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all aspects of occupationaltherapy service delivery provided under a physician approved planof care.

Ensures the plan of care addresses all problems identifiedin the assessment or documents rationale if identified problems arenot addressed in the plan of care.

Accountable for the safety andeffectiveness of the occupational therapy service deliveryprocess.

Completes documentation timely and accurately.

Superviseshome health aide when RN is not active in the case.

Other duties asassigned.

QualificationsCurrent license to practice occupationaltherapy specific to the state you are assigned to work.

Graduate ofan occupational therapy program accredited by the AccreditationCouncil for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the AmericanOccupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA), or successororganizations of ACOTEEligible to take, or has successfullycompleted, the entry-level certification examination foroccupational therapists developed and administered by the NationalBoard for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).Oneyear related occupational therapy experience to ensure knowledgeand skills are sufficient to safely provide occupational therapyservices to patients.

If less than one (1) year experience, thenapproval from regional clinical leaders required as well asappropriate mentoring and/or residency program established.

CurrentCPR certification.
