Category Schools – OT – Telehealth Job Type Contract To Hire Position Overview Are you a licensed Occupational Therapist looking to make a real impact—without ever leaving home? We’re excited to bring a passionate and experienced OT onto our virtual team to support K-12 students across Alabama. This fully remote role allows you to deliver meaningful therapy services from anywhere, helping students build independence, confidence, and the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom. You’ll collaborate with educators and families through a secure teletherapy platform, all while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of working from home. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, individualized occupational therapy sessions aligned with students’ IEP goals. Develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans to meet each student’s unique motor, sensory, and functional needs. Collaborate regularly with special education staff, general education teachers, and families to ensure holistic support. Participate in virtual IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations to guide student success. Track and document student progress accurately, adapting strategies based on performance and feedback. Ensure all services and documentation meet Alabama educational and compliance standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Active Alabama Occupational Therapy license. At least two years of experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred. Skilled in writing IEP goals, therapy plans, and progress reports. Confident using digital tools and teletherapy platforms. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Self-driven and organized, with the ability to manage a remote caseload independently. Technology Requirements A reliable, high-speed internet connection. A desktop or laptop computer (tablets and Chromebooks are not supported). Completion of a brief tech screening to confirm compatibility with our virtual platform. Ready to Apply?
