Occupational Therapist (OT) – Pediatrics Seminole Tribe of Florida 6365 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024 The Seminole Tribe of Florida has a Children’s Center for Diagnostics & Therapy (CCDT) Program that offers services for 0-17 years old. The CCDT Program strives to provide its services while using culturally-sensitive and effective treatments, and treating tribal members with compassion, respect and dignity. We work to coordinate the best possible care within our multidisciplinary team, as well as with other departments within the Tribe, while respecting each client’s right to self-determination and privacy. We provide services in Preschools, K-12 Schools, office, and in-home settings. The staff schedule is full-time Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, however flexibility is needed to observe behavior either earlier or later in the day.

We do have tribal vehicles to switch into when driving to other Reservations including Immokalee, Clewiston, and Okeechobee. Position Summary The incumbent in this position plans and administers occupational therapy evaluations and plans and implements appropriate treatment to those children referred to the to the Seminole Tribe of Florida Center for Behavioral Health Children’s Center for Diagnostics & Therapy (CCDT) Program. The individual documents provision of care, works cooperatively with STOF’s support staff and participates in special projects as may be necessary.
Qualifications / Requirements
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist is required. The incumbent must possess a current license as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida. Individual must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to speak the Creek and/or Miccosukee language is preferred. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Schedule:
8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): This position is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, however there may be occasions you may need to work earlier or later in order to meet with clients. You would be based in Hollywood however travel to other Reservations as needed which includes going to Clewiston and Okeechobee. There is a departmental vehicle you can use to travel between sites.
