Description:
Columbia County School District in Lake City, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team for the upcoming academic year. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students to help them develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services to students within our school district.
Responsibilities:
Assess students’ fine motor, visual motor, and sensory processing skills Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ educational goals Provide direct therapy services and interventions Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Florida Occupational Therapy License Previous experience working with children and adolescents preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team How to
