Pediatric Occupational Therapy Practitioner Believe It and Achieve It 10006 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33618 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics. This role involves working with patients of ages 0-21, with a focus on sensory integration, autism spectrum disorder, and more. The Occupational Therapist will develop personalized care plans to enhance patients’ quality of life and promote independence in daily activities. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs to determine appropriate therapy interventions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Provide therapy services in an interdisciplinary outpatient environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and strategies for improving daily living skills. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy through continuous professional development. Requirements Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Strong knowledge of psychology, physiology, behavior and its application in therapeutic practices. Experience in early intervention strategies is preferred. Familiarity with health care practices and outpatient therapy settings. Ability to create effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to enhancing the lives of patients through rehabilitation. Bilingual a plus!
