Reporting to Director of RehabAbout the jobAs an OccupationalTherapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who canbring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patientneeds, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupationaltherapy.

You’re a healer and a helper, which is why you got intothis line of work.

You’re equally adept at addressing the wholepatient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is thedesign of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance theirphysical abilities and independence.

You’re adaptable to the needsof the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and thesettings.

You’re a teammate and are looking for collaboration withyour peers, but you’re also happy to make referrals to help yourpatient get the care they need to thrive.

Requirements:
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONALREQUIREMENTS

1. They must have a valid Occupational license in thestate(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.2. Theymust have a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy; or3. They musthave a Master’s degree in a Occupational Therapy related field inaddition to a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; or4. Theymust have a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy plus 5 yearsof progressively responsible OT experience. The qualifyingOccupational Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must beevaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in OccupationalTherapy.
