You’reequally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as anindividual. You know your goal is the design of a program that willrestore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities andindependence.

You’re adaptable to the needs of the patient and canfind joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You’re ateammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, butyou’re also happy to make referrals to help your patient get thecare they need to thrive.

Requirements:

They must have a Bachelor’s degree in anoccupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.

Theymust have initial registration from the National Board forCertification in Occupational Therapy.

The Occupational Therapistmust hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license asrequired in the state of practice.
