  • Master’s Degree or higher of Occupational Therapy OTR Certification (NBCOT) Occupational Therapy experience, but New Grads are welcome toapply Other certifications or licenses may be required for thisposition
  • Summary:
  • The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides comprehensive,evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients develop,recover, and enhance the skills necessary for independent dailyliving.

Working across diverse settings the OT evaluates patientneeds, diagnoses functional limitations, and designs individualizedtreatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique goals. Throughdirect, hands-on interventions and the use of adaptive techniquesand specialized equipment, the OT empowers patients and educatestheir families on strategies to optimize functional independenceand improve overall quality of life.

  • Essential Work Functions:
  • Create personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments,evidence-based practices, and patient goals Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions andtreatments in accordance with the established treatmentplan Provide direct, hands-on therapy using adaptive techniques,modalities, and assistive devices to improve functional abilitiesin daily living and work-related tasks Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals,techniques, and strategies to enhance independence in activities ofdaily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare team toensure coordinated, holistic care Track patient progress through regular evaluations, modifytreatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation inthe medical record Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professionaldevelopment activities to remain current with best practices inoccupational therapy Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, andregulatory standards to maintain a secure and supportive therapyenvironment Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitionsand continued patient progress in community or home-basedsettings Performs other duties as assigned within scope of practice•
Required Essential Skills:
