Job Description

Category Schools – OT Job Type Contract An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a focus on school-based settings. This role involves providing essential support and services to students during a maternity leave contract, serving a diverse middle school caseload.

Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy License or COTA certification. Demonstrated experience in school-based therapy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and parents. Familiarity with IEPs and related documentation.

Location:
Marietta, GA Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to approximately 45 middle school students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other professionals. Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ needs and monitor their progress. Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services to support student goals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and progress made.
