Category Schools – OT Job Type Contract An opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Stone Mountain, GA. This role is essential in providing therapeutic services that enhance students’ educational experiences and overall development.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field. Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
Location:
Stone Mountain, GA Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to implement IEP goals. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
