Facility:
Wellstar MCG Health Functions as a part of a large and varied healthcare team consisting of physicians, nurses, allied health personnel, and members of the community. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care to a variety of diagnostic categories and supervising rehabilitation technicians, volunteers, and students. Caseloads may consist of adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. Implements treatment plan utilizing current theory and practice; works towards established goals; modifies goals and treatment plan as necessary and indicated. Documents treatment plan according to department policy and bills for services. Coordinates appropriate follow up post discharge from care.
Position Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). Georgia State Licensure.
