Flexible Schedule in an acute care setting! Overview MissouriBaptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County,offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, includingheart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health,gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and painmanagement services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergencydepartment and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergencydepartment in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Thelicensed or registered Occupational Therapist (OT) provides skilledoccupational therapy services to patients including all aspects ofevaluation and treatment. Responsibilities
- Establishes treatmentplan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expecteddischarge functional status; and appropriate equipment andsupplies.
- Educates, collaborates with, and conferences withpatients, families, and other health care providers; makingrecommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
- Delegatesto assistants, techs, and students through written and verbalcommunication including determining the skill level or competencyrequired to provide interventions to best meet the needs of thepatient.
- Completes documentation in accordance with departmentalpolicies.
- Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultationsfor Occupational Therapy Services. Minimum Requirements Education
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Occupational Therapy (OT) Experience
- NoExperience Supervisor Experience
- No Experience Licenses &Certifications
- Occupational Therapist Lic Preferred RequirementsEducation
- Master’s Degree
