Terrace Home Health is pleased to announce a position for a parttime Occupational Therapist. This is a home health opportunity inbeautiful Meridian, Idaho. Our therapist will enjoy a generoushourly rate as well as a $83-$88 encounter rate with each patientvisit and a $10 per hour drive time reimbursement.
Our therapistshave the opportunity to deliver patient centered care. We empowertherapists to decide what their patients need, and allow enoughtime in their day to deliver. There are no 15 minute encounters, wedo not schedule at 125% production, and we encourage our therapiststo spend the time to ensure each patient receives the care theyrequire.
Our Occupational Therapist will be responsible for thefollowing tasks: Assessing the patient’s physical, communicationand cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan Giving advice andproviding support for family members and care givers Teachingpatients how to use adaptive equipment properly Helping patients totake part in everyday activities based on their uniquecircumstances Assisting patients’ exercise for pain reliefReviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatmentaccordingly Performing administrative tasks such as keepingrecords, writing reports and making telephone calls Gatherbackground data, review referrals, select and modify evaluationtools, and evaluate patients determining the level of our patient’sphysical and psychosocial functioning. Develop and revise the planof care in consultation with the physician and other care-teammembers. Responsible for planning, evaluation, and treatmentimplementation of assigned caseload. Preparing clinical notes.
