OccupationalTherapist (Pediatric)
Requirements & Responsibilities:
1 year ofprevious pediatric experience is preferred; new graduates will beconsidered.
Graduation from an occupational therapy programaccredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational TherapyEducation or equivalent.
Licensed in the state of North Carolina oreligible for licensure/registration per state registrationpractices.
Pass a Background Check.
Complete evaluation, treatment,consultation, and discharge planning for children in an outpatientclinic.
Accurate documentation in EMR system.
Detailed and thoroughcommunication with childs healthcare providers through progressreports, phone calls, and other forms of communication.
Assess andmake recommendations regarding appropriate assistive technologyand/or adaptive equipment as needed.
Acts as a supervisor for COTAsin the clinic.
