  • Create schedule, daily notes, progress notes,and IEP updates based on caseload/n/t
  • Have an understanding ofthe spectrum of services from MTSS to screening/evaluation totreatment./n/t
  • Familiar with peds, school-based practice/n /n%

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and provide appropriatespecialized therapy techniques through individual and/or groupsessions designed to meet the educational needs of the studentconsistent with therapy goals contained in Individual EducationPlans (IEP)/n/t
  • Screen, evaluate, and document on student levels,strengths, needs, and progress using approved testing andassessment instruments/n/t
  • Participate in IndividualizedEducation Program (IEP) and multi-disciplinary team meetings toevaluate student needs/progress and to develop and/or reviseindividualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals/n/t
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implementclassroom-based activities and instructional techniques to ensurecarry-over of skills and learning/n/t
  • Provide consultativeservices to and involve parents in the therapy program of theirchild/n/t
  • Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, andother documents required in accordance with federal and state law,State Board of Education rules, and school policy to includedocumentation for the need for equipment and materials/n/t
  • Meetthe needs of all students effectively by working in partnershipwith other disciplines./n/t
  • Comply with policies established byfederal and state law, State Board of Education rules, and schoolpolicy/n/t
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research, theories,and practices associated with therapy in the school-based setting/n/n

  • Master’s Degree in OccupationalTherapy/n/t
