Category Schools – OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a focus on school-based settings. Located in Lansdale, PA, this full-time position is designed for the upcoming school year and involves working closely with elementary students to enhance their developmental skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional developments. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities. Provide engaging therapy sessions aimed at improving skills such as handwriting, coordination, and daily living tasks. Monitor student progress, adjust therapy goals accordingly, and prepare necessary documentation. Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Active Professional License/Certification in Pennsylvania. Previous experience in school-based therapy is essential. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
