  • Occupational Therapist Position SummaryThe Occupational Therapist will evaluate andreassess participants upon referral from the InterdisciplinaryTeam.
  • Provides and recommends therapeutic exercises.
  • Responsiblefor providing comprehensive occupational therapy program forSeamark PACE participants, including development and oversight offunctional maintenance programs.

Experience & Education Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program accredited by theAmerican Occupational Therapy Association. A valid and current Occupational Therapy License in goodstanding. Minimum 2 years clinical experience with adult physicaldisability practicing as an Occupational Therapist. Either have one year of experience working with a frail orelderly population or, in the absence of such experience, toreceive appropriate training from BoldAge PACE to work with a frailor elderly population upon hiring. Advanced Practice in Dysphagia preferred, but notmandatory. Hmong speaking preferred A valid Driver’s license and vehicle, or other approved meansof transportation, and an acceptable driving record is required forsome assignments.

Knowledge of:

Clinical competency with the geriatric population. Appropriate and updated therapy equipment and technology,including aerobic and strength conditioning equipment tailored tosenior population and use of mechanical assist devices. Adaptable equipment to be used by the population with physicaldisabilities or limitations. Proper body mechanics to avoid work-related injuries, and theability to educate other staff on proper body mechanics. Basic computer skills and use of electronic mail.
