1799.47 1971.76 AMN Healthcare is partnering with a Bennettsville South Carolina school district to hire a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with one of the top districts in the area, providing services to children of all ages. Generally, the OT will address motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions that impact a students academics, selfcare skills, play, and social participation, as well as transitional skills.

nResponsibilities for this role include:

• u0009Partner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students achieve their academic goals.
• u0009Screen and evaluate students referred to Occupational Therapy.
• u0009Appropriately collect data, report findings.
• u0009Provide evidencebased direct and consultative therapy services as required.
• u0009Maintain accurate documentation and billing per district and state standards.
• u0009The OT will provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to improve participation and progress toward educational goals.
• u0009Participate on a collaborative team and maintain clear communication with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student performance. Required Qualifications Occupational Therapist, School SC License Preferred Qualifications
• u0009Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• u0009Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in [STATE]
• u0009Initial certification through NBCOT
• u0009Clear, articulate communication skills
• u0009Ability to explain results to a varied audience
• u0009Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
