Job Description

Category Schools – OT – Telehealth Job Type Contract An opportunity awaits for a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide essential services in K-12 school settings located in Franklin, TN. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about enhancing student well-being and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students’ occupational therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s requirements. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive environment for student success. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Provide training and resources to school staff regarding best practices in supporting students’ needs. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant regulations and standards in educational settings.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state license to practice occupational therapy in a school setting. Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a special education context, is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and families. Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of diverse learners.
