Job Summary and Qualifications Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-time, 32 hours per week We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team with the treatment program and plan of care, while promoting a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The COTA will work in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist as part of the interdisciplinary team. What will you do in this role? Carries out the treatment program and plan of care Monitors outcomes as related to the assessment and goals developed by the OT Reviews and communicates the patients’ status, requests modifications if needed Provides patient and staff education Manages his/her own patient caseload seeking direction from the OT as appropriate What qualifications you will need: Associate Degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program State licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date HCA Florida Capital Hospital is your one-stop solution for all your healthcare needs.
