Shift :

Sundays 7:45-4:15pm and Tuesdays and Wednesdays 1:00-7:00 pm. The community you’ll be caring for: Located north of Orlando in the community of Altamonte Springs, our facility is consistently named “Best Hospital” for overall quality, reputation, doctors and nurses by local residents As the largest satellite campus within the AdventHealth system, AdventHealth Altamonte has been providing state-of-the-art healthcare to the community since 1973 The 398-bed hospital cares for more than 168,000 patients a year. The role you’ll contribute: Supports rehab therapy care delivery by preparing and assisting in treatment area, patients, equipment, and materials. The value you’ll bring to the team: Anticipates needs and assists staff with patient care, treatment, and other tasks by correctly and promptly carrying out assigned activities/duties. Ensures patient and staff safety by recognizing situations which place patient or staff at risk and responds appropriately Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols Maintains safe and clean working environments, ensures supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained, while adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations Performs therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed therapist Communicate appropriately and effectively with patients, family, and health care professionals within and across care settings and communities Attends department meetings and education as required As requested, perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms Willingly adjusts and adapts to changes in workload by altering working hours to assist in other areas/centers/programs as approved and observed by supervisor/manager Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School Grad or

GED LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED
