Job Description
Facility:
1800 Parkway Center This position supports rehabilitation services by assisting licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists in providing age-appropriate patient care. Additional responsibilities include administrative support for therapists and general departmental duties as needed.
Core Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Assist therapists with patient treatment under direct supervision. Provide a “second set of hands” when needed during therapy sessions. Perform general administrative support tasks for therapists. Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and supplies are readily available.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Certifications & Licensure:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
Experience:
Prior experience in a patient care setting (preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and time management skills. Familiarity with medical terminology. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
