Job Overview:
The Certified OccupationalTherapist Assistant is responsible for carrying out best practicetreatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. TheOccupational Therapist Assistant will provide treatment by adheringto specific goals developed by the OT. As well, the COTA mustprovide feedback to the supervision occupational therapist viadocumentation or in any other method required by facilitypolicy.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have a valid professionallicense and registration for state of FLProvide comprehensivetreatment to patients under supervision of OccupationalTherapistExperience with long-term care and/or geriatric care ispreferred but not limited to.
Well versed with documentationwritingDocument patients progress on weekly progress note in atimely fashion.
Collaborates with all disciplines to provide bestpatient centered treatment and care.
Exceptional patient serviceskills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellenceReport to workon time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalismat all times.
