Summary:

Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant role administers patient treatment plans, assesses patient response, and modifies treatment as appropriate within established guidelines. Emphasis is on but not limited to mobility, motor, sensory, perceptual/cognitive, social, developmental, and functional skills.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1.

Education:

Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

License/Certifications:

Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver’s License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.

One year of clinical experience preferred.
