Ongoing learning and career advancementopportunities. What we’re looking for: We are looking for a dynamicCertified Occupational Therapist Assistant who is passionate abouthelping others and is a team player! What you will do in this role:
- Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and otherteam members; instruct patient’s family or nursing staff infollow-through programs
- Assist with patient scheduling and postcharges daily to patient records
- Document patient care inaccordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accreditingrequirements
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and cleancondition
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance with thestandards of the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the CorporateCompliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards andapplicable state/federal laws
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Candidates must have certification from theAmerican Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
- Graduate of anaccredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in anAssociate’s degree
- Current and valid state OTA license orcertificate of practice or equivalent in the states where servicesare rendered
- Inpatient experience preferred
