Summary We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Professional Early Intervention Services. In this role, you will support occupational therapists in implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at improving children’s abilities to develop and learn. Your contributions will play a vital role in the success of our early intervention programs. Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans for children. Conduct therapeutic activities under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. Monitor and document children’s progress towards developmental goals. Provide support to children and families during therapy sessions, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for each child. Requirements Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric populations. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children and their families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
