The State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, and New Hampshire Hospital has a full-time vacancy for Occupational Therapy Assistant I.
Summary:
To assist in developing and implementing occupational therapy treatment programs, under the supervision of and partnership with an Occupational Therapist, to promote patients independence and engagement in basic and instrumental activities of daily living, rest and sleep, vocational, play/leisure activities, and social participation and to aid in patients limitations due to physical, sensory-perceptual, psychosocial and cognitive capabilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university with major study in occupational therapy assistant, certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy and licensure or application for licensure as a COTA.
Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience:
Two years of experience within a related educational, counseling, allied health, in-patient or community-based setting working with individuals or persons with disabilities.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Possession of licensure or temporary license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the NH Allied Health Professionals Governing Board for Occupational Therapy,
