As a Home Health Occupational TherapistAssistant, you will: Provide therapy services planned, delegatedand supervised by the qualified Occupational Therapist inaccordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment. Assist in theimplementation of vocational/education programs and activitiesestablished by registered Occupational Therapist designed torestore, reinforce, and enhance task performances, diminish orcorrect pathology, and to promote/maintain health andself-sufficiency. Design/adapt equipment and working and/or livingenvironment. Fabricate devices to assist and improve function andindependence and participation in the program and/or communitywhere possible. Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction topatients as directed by the qualified Occupational Therapist and inaccordance with physician orders to improve/restore strength,coordination, range-of-motion and function or teach compensationmeasures. Report information and observations to OccupationalTherapist and/or Clinical supervisor, document observed informationin patient records and prepares clinical notes. Assist withpreparation of progress reports. Maintain and submit documentationas required by the Company and/or facility. Instruct patients andfamily members regarding home programs as well as care and use ofadaptive equipment. Participate in care coordination and dischargeplanning activities and act as a resource to other health carepersonnel in meeting patient’s needs. Design communityreintegration activities, as appropriate, to assist the client inthe physical reconditioning effort, and/or the psychologicaladjustment and coordinate the plan with members of theinterdisciplinary team. RequiredExperience/Skills:
Current and unrestricted OTA licensure Minimumof six months occupational therapist assistant experience preferredHome Health experience a plus Current CPR certification Goodorganizational and communication skills Valid driver’s license,auto insurance and reliable transportation. Pay Range

- $80,000 per year base payScheduled Weekly Hours 1 Pay Range The compensation range belowreflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time(40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
The payrange may be higher or lower based on geographic location andindividual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills,knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $53,100
