Key Responsibilities :

Provide compassionate, professional care to clients in their homes. Assist patients in achieving their personal goals in ADLs, IADLs, and functional mobility. Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based treatments tailored to individual needs. Document patient progress and treatments efficiently and defensibly. Educate patients and caregivers to support continued progress and promote a healthy lifestyle. Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications :

Completion of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (Associate Degree). Current NY State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License (required). Knowledge of EMR systems (SynergyPro/Turbo PT experience is a plus). CPR certification (preferred but not required).

Skills :

Strong understanding of current best practices in occupational therapy. Ability to engage patients with diverse needs and personalities. Motivation to continually learn and adapt.
