Responsibilities:

As the Clinic Director, you will beresponsible for the success of an assigned host community orcommunities, in a manner consistent with your permitted scope ofpractice and in accordance with federal, state, and localregulations. The Clinic Director is responsible for providingservices, operational support and leadership to service teams, aswell as for implementing company-wide policies, clinical programs,and quality initiatives designed to optimize each patient’sfunctional well-being and satisfaction. Consistent with yourclinical scope of practice, the Clinic Director’s essential dutiesinclude the following:

  • Lead the on-site EmpowerMe team indelivering high-quality healthcare services that areperson-directed and which produce outcomes in line with companygoals and objectives
  • Oversee day to day operations of assignedclinic(s) to optimize resident participation and productivity.
  • Recruits, trains, mentors, motivates and supervises a highperforming team fostering a culture collaboration andaccountability. May interview from time to time.
  • Createsschedules to ensure patient care commensurate with treatment plans
  • Reviews and approves therapists time via the payroll closeoutprocess.
  • Provide input on community budget and is responsible fordelivery of the budget.
  • Implement clinical programs that arefocused on the needs of the residents living in a senior livingcommunity
  • Identify residents who may benefit from servicesthrough routine screenings, communication with care staff, andmonitoring of electronic medical record(s)
  • Ensure screening ofall residents moving into the community within one week
  • Leadresident consent and intake process, ensuring an efficient andpositive experience.
  • Treat patients and their families withrespect and dignity; identify and address psychosocial, cultural,ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs of patients and theirfamilies
  • Comply with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability andAccountability Act) and PHI (Protected Health Information)guidelines, and always protect confidentiality
  • Act as main pointof contact between company and host community
  • Conduct regularcommunication with Executive Director and Director ofNursing/Wellness
  • Promote EmpowerMe service offerings and providein-services to host community’s care staff regularly
  • Communicateprofessionally and clearly, and maintain a good workingrelationship with physicians, care staff, the administrative team,and interdisciplinary teams, as well as demonstrate flexibility toensure patient/facility/customer needs are being met
  • Participatein tours and help prospective residents and family membersunderstand how EmpowerMe services will address their specific needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent withqualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards
  • Complies with HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability andAccountability) and PHI (Protected Health Information) guidelinesand protects confidentiality at all times.
  • Ensure that companystandards and policies are well-maintained, and align oneself withthe company vision for service quality and value creation

Qualifications:
  • Degree in healthcare with at least two years ofrelevant experience in a senior living setting
  • Current statelicensure in COTA
  • A passion for working with older adults whileproviding the best care possible
  • A solid understanding ofwellness offerings; Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy forseniors; and a general knowledge of laws and restrictions regardingAssisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care
  • Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work wellwith others and take direction from management
  • Initiative andwillingness to go above and beyond to ensure the needs of theorganization are met in accordance with the company’s core values

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Internet browsers(e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox), as well as advanced knowledge ofMicrosoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Experience in working with various electronic medical records andmedical billing systems.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
