Optometric Technician Position Available In Baldwin, Alabama

Optometric Technician Cobb & Terrezza Optical 309 Mckenzie Street North, Foley, AL 36535 We are committed to excellence in patient eye care and we are looking for a team member that shares our passion for excellence. Must have great customer service skills and is a team player for our high patient volume office. Optometric technician performs a variety of tasks to assist the optometrist in routine and medical eye examinations. They record patient medical histories and help prepare the patient for the vision examination. They also assist with tests that help ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of a diseased eye such as taking optomap photos, tonometry, visual field, and optical coherence tomography. Assisting first time contact lens wearer by teaching the patient how to insert and remove lenses. Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments. Need good computer skills for use with electronic medical records – RevolutionEHR. Must be detail oriented, accurate, and time efficient. Optometry office setting experience preferred. We are open Monday-Friday 8-5. Salary can be negotiated – depending on experience.
