Optometric Technician Responsibilities:
Assist with patient care and eye examinations Explain the examination process to patients and prepare them Administer visual exams with precision and care Provide exceptional customer service during all patient encounters Chart patient’s vision history accurately Operate a variety of testing equipment including manual lensometer, auto-lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, or OCT Follow protocols for equipment testing and maintenance Maintain a clean and sanitized examination environment Display proficiency in eye anatomy, diseases, symptoms, and ocular medications
Optometric Technician Qualifications:
