What You’ll Do As an integral member of the clinical team, you will: Conduct thorough patient workups and specialized diagnostic testing to support the provider, managing 4-6 patient encounters per hour. Perform a variety of advanced testing (OCT, visual fields, keratometry, tonometry, visual field testing, and more) to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Assist with in-office procedures , including setup, patient education, and post-procedure care. Manage contact lens fittings , orders, and patient instructions, keeping inventory up to date. Document patient interactions and provider notes in the EMR system with accuracy and efficiency. Act as a technical resource, ensuring all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and ready for use. What We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you should have:
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology or Optometry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Interpersonal Skills:
A professional, empathetic, and energetic demeanor with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Education & Certification:
High School Diploma required. Active certification within Ophthalmology (COA/COT/OSC) preferred. What Sets You Apart A solid understanding of eye anatomy, diseases, medications, and pre/post-operative care. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
