We’re currently looking for a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team. If you’re passionate about patient care and thrive in a team-based environment, we’d love to meet you. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience from start to finish Perform preliminary testing (autorefractor, tonometry, visual fields, OCT, etc.) Accurately record patient history and assist with EHR documentation Support optometrists during exams and procedures Teach patients about contact lens insertion/removal and care Maintain clean and organized exam lanes and equipment Help manage patient flow and scheduling as needed Assist with optical sales or insurance verification when appropriate What We’re Looking For A positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to help others Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities Prior experience in an optometry or medical office preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures High school diploma or equivalent required
