Ophthalmic Practice Associate Eyecare Ctr Florida Brooksville, FL 34613 Ophthalmic tech/ assistant Ophthalmology practice seeking qualified candidate. Assist in clinic with patient data acquisition. Obtain visual acuities, refraction Use diagnostic instruments such as autorefractor, lensometer, HVF, spec microscope, IOL master, OCT, Topography. Cross trained and assist front office with patient reception, computer data entry, telephones, appointments. Assist with patient optical selections Energetic and motivated. Personable, friendly, dependable, and relates well with others. Experience preferred. But will train in deficient areas for motivated candidate Salary commensurate with experience. Summary As an Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant, you will be integral to providing high-quality patient care in an ophthalmology setting. Reporting to the ophthalmologist, your role involves assisting with patient intake, conducting preliminary eye exams, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your core knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology will support effective communication and care delivery. With premium skills in vital signs monitoring and aseptic techniques, you will enhance patient experiences. Additionally, familiarity with EMR systems and optical experience will further contribute to the efficiency and success of our practice.
