Duties would include:

Displays a professional image Greets all patients and customers as they enter the store Promptly answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner Demonstrate knowledge of appointment book/scheduling procedures and computer operation/procedures Performs work accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and patient volume Performs a variety of tasks to assist the optometrist in eye examinations. Tasks include privately obtaining medical history and preparation of patients for examination. Think out loud, asking open ended questions around the what, why and relevance to patients. Perform tests to aid the optometrist in accurate diagnosis and treatment for the patient in appropriate time frame Place contact lens trial orders, ensure no expired contacts and maintain the contact lens room in a neat, orderly and free of clutter. Looking up patients Managed Vision Care or insurance information and filing claims for them. Ensure a quality patient experience through correct pricing, POS entry, and realistic delivery time quotes. Performs basic housekeeping duties; clean and organize frame cases, vacuum, dust, polish, organize magazine rack, etc. Maintain safe working environment for all associates, customers and patients Other duties as assigned by
