Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Assist optometrist with patient care, including pre-testing and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform visual acuity and other vision tests.
• Obtain patient medical history and update records.
• Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment.
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Understanding of medical office procedures, including medical billing and insurance verification is a plus.
