Responsibilities Assist in the administration of diagnostic tests and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and billing information. Provide education to patients regarding eye health, treatment options, and post-operative care. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Stay updated on advancements in ophthalmic technology and practices. Cornea and Lasik Background a plus. Salary dependent on experience. Qualifications Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the eye is essential. Experience with medical coding and billing is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in using clinical systems for patient management is highly desirable. Previous experience in a clinic setting is advantageous for understanding workflow dynamics.
