Job Description We are lookingfor an Entry-Level Clinic Technician to work alongside our eyecareteam. Asan Ophthalmic Technician at Mittleman Eye, you will receiveintensive hands-on training that prepares you for a fulfillingcareer in ophthalmology. In this role, youwill learn the skills required to become an ophthalmic technician -one of the most sought-after types of medical professionals in thecountry! We will train you to perform complex diagnostic testingand exams, working side by side with our doctors to providecritical medical information that assists them in providing medicaland surgical treatment for our patients. Your training will providea path for advanced, internationally recognized certification in anexciting and growing field! Even if you’ve never worked in themedical field before, we would like to hear from you! Duties ℜsponsibilities: Reports to the Operations Manager Assist withpatient preparation and preliminary examinations. Perform testssuch as visual acuity, refraction, and tonometry. Document patienthistory and test results in EMR. Assist with the maintenance andcalibration of testing equipment. Ensure examination rooms areclean, stocked, and prepared for each patient. Participating in theworkstations cleaning process and ensure they look neat at the endof every day. Provide patient education on procedures andpost-visit care. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere toHIPAA regulations. Participate in ongoing training and developmentopportunities. Support and process other work as assigned.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ophthalmic,Optometric, or Medical Assistant certification is preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the medical field. Ability tolearn and adapt to company systems, strategies, and processes.

Great knowledge of ophthalmology and medical terminology is a plus.

We are willing to train the right with little to no experience ifyou are a fast learner, and you can pay great attention to details.

Experience in the Ophthalmic/Ophthalmology field preferred but notrequired as we are willing to train the right person to fit therole.
