Our office is a full scope optometric practice and offer services such as dry eye, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma, cataract evaluations. We pride ourselves in offering high quality eye care and eyewear to our patients. Responsibilities Conduct preliminary work-up for patients for a comprehensive eye examination or medical office visits. Assist patients with the completion of medical history forms and ensure accurate medical records are maintained. Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies is stocked and equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Provide support at the front desk, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, checking-in and checking-out patients, completing end-of-day duties and managing patient inquiries. Verify all insurance for Up coming patient & Including Procedure & well check benefit Able to communicate with patient regarding Co-pay, Co-Insurance & Deductible and Collect Office visit include labs & procedure appropriately job functions include performing diagnostic testing; OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Photo Educate patients on proper contact lens care, training patients on insertion/removal training and learning about soft contact lenses and specialty contact lenses. Skills Familiarity with basic math concepts to assist in sales and reports. Able to operate a retin camra, OCT, Visual Field Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft and Google suite. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Strong work ethic, attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Spanish speaking is a plus.
