Front and back office management Proficient computer skills in order to work with electronic medical records and on-line appointment scheduling Working with eye health and eye care Pretesting patients for eye doctors Patient education of eye health and eye care Filling insurance claims and collection of co-pays and insurance balances Managing patient experience from check-in to check-out including patient registration Handling contact lenses and inventory Maintenance and upkeep of healthcare office including exam rooms, pre-test rooms, contact lens area, reception area and all common areas Transition patients to optical dispensary Managing patient phone calls and scheduling appointments-both current and future appointments Working with co-workers and eye doctors in an efficient, respectful and caring environment Safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and staff information Medical records processing Handling correspondence Appointment call reminders Data entry of patient and insurance demographics Other office related tasks Job Requirements
